Hurrayyyyy!

OK you guys, it is less than a week until the Shop MAC event (featuring the new Cook MAC collection!) and my wish list is done!

I'm super prepared because I'm thisclose to being done with this Pan Project nonsense.

Shall I share what I've finished?
-Burt's Bees Body Butter
-MAC Brush Cleanser
-Covergirl LashBlast mascare
-Clinique Foaming Cleanser
-Clinique makeup remover
-Clinique foundation
-Clinique Brow Lift pencil
-KP Duty lotion

...which means I only have the eyeliner and face powder left. The eyeliner is very close to being done, but I have no idea how I'm gonna finish this powder, guys! Might just give it away...is that cheating? Whatever, I've completely finished up a ton of other products, too! ;p

PS- Camwhore time.

Kawaii Purse!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello!
Today, I'll be showing off a mega chio (as Xiaxue would say) purse that I purchased from YesStyle!

This is super adorable and Chanel-inspired, and the color is perfect to cheer me up on a gloomy winter day! It is from a brand called May May, and YesStyle calls the product a "bow-accent quilted cross bag." The color I chose is Vermillion, a beautiful pinky/reddish coral. Super pretty! And I LOVE that the hardware is silver, because I like silver way better than gold. You can find this super adorable (and affordable!) purse here and here. I might even buy the mustard color for myself, hehe.  ;)

PS- my eyeliner is an Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in the shade "Ransom." Great for green eyes!

Project Pan Update!

Hellooo everyone!!
If you read my first blog post EVER, you'd know that I recently embarked on a Pan Project. Let me just say...it sucks. Not buying/using new makeup is weird and poopy. HOWEVER...
I've made amazing progress! I'm done with the MAC brush cleaner and my makeup remover, as well as my MAC Blot Powder. I'm super close to being done with the CoverGirl eyeliner and the Burt's Bees body butter.

But I don't think I'm ever going to be done with that stupid Clinique powder. I hate it so much lah. Maybe I'll just sell it. (Or give it away. Anything to get rid of it.)

Today my family and I went out to a German restaurant for my Papa's 83rd birthday. I love him a lot and the food was so good! We had such a good time. :)
OMG GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE IN MY BELLY! NOMNOM

As for my makeup, I tried to make everything look pretty natural to prevent scaring my grandparents. Bahaha.

GIVE ME THIS

Today I went shopping with Mom because she wanted new foundation (she hates her MAC one, tbh). She picked out (OK, I did) the Estee Lauer Double Wear, which ended up being the foundation the girl at the counter recommended anyway! Sooo, she applied it to Mommy's face and it looked incredible. Pretty Mommy. <3
While we were there, I saw the most AMAZING palette ever. I know it's $56 but I have to have it!

It's the Yves Saint Laurent 'Ombrés 5 Lumieres' Palette in color #13. And the mint green color is what I've been hunting down for years. :'(
I swatched it and it's perfection. I might just give in and use the rest of my Nordstrom gift card to buy it...

Have you ever wanted a product so bad you just can't stop thinking about it? That's how I feel. I NEED that minty color!

MAC Liquidlast Liners: Swatches & Review

When I was just a little girl (OK, I was 14.), I discovered a makeup item that changed me. It changed the way I saw makeup and how investing my money in good products would reward me in the long run. Now, I am almost 18 years old, and I still love and cherish the same item, of which I now have eleven different shades: MAC Liquidlast Liner. This is literally the best eyeliner I have EVER used! It is trickier to find now, but I suggest asking at your MAC store and/or counter if they still have any shades hanging around. For example, I found the lovely, chocolate brown Coco Bar at my MAC Pro store this summer. In addition, the MAC website still carries the creamy black Point Black, and www.nordstrom.com still carries a few shades, as well.

MAC claims that this eyeliner is a "rich colour liquid eye liner that combines long-lasting wear with a non-smudge, non-flake precision line." I would say that's a pretty accurate description! These liners are completely waterproof. I've showered with almost every single shade on, and they DO NOT budge. Removal issues? I highly recommend an oil-based remover to remove these. ;)

Project 10 Pan!

About two weeks ago, I decided I have tons of extra stuff in my makeup/skincare stash and I need to get rid of some stuff. Some, I'm simply not that crazy about; others just take up too much room. So, here are the products I'll be trying to get through! (Or have just finished)

1. Burt's Bees Thoroughly Therapeutic Body Butter
This is a decent body butter with a nice scent, but I'm not sure the moisturization lasts all day. My legs don't still feel soft when I wake up in the morning. Also, the honey in this tends to make my hands feel sticky after applying it to my body.

2. Clinique Acne Solutions foundation
To be honest, I don't actually have acne. The only reason I've been using this foundation so long is because I'm scared I'll break out if I switch. But I need to just find something new!

3. Clinique Foaming Cleanser
This has been laying around my bathroom for ages. It lathers up really nicely, but it's for Normal type skin, whereas I have Combination skin. So I figure I'll use this up then try to find something new to wash my face with in the morning!

4. Clinique Translucent Face Powder
This face powder is so BLAH. I guess if you had normal, regular skin, it would be GREAT. However, it doesn't control the oil on my nose and chin and emphasizes the dryness on my forehead. Can't wait to finish this. ;(
5. Clinique Brow Lift eyebrow pencil
This is a decent brow pencil (it even comes with a brow highlighter on the other end!) but I think the color is a little ashy for me. It's nice when I want more toned-down brows, though. I have another brow pencil laying around, so I figured I'd finish this one.

6. Clinique Take the Day Off makeup remover
I love this makeup remover! However, I have other little bottles of makeup remover cluttering up everything. Plus, I only have enough left in this bottle for another week or two.

7. Covergirl Lashblast Volume mascara
This is one of my favorite mascaras EVER. However, this is about one of 10 tubes of mascara I have in my collection, and I know this is one mascara I can actually finish.
8. Covergirl PerfectBlend eyeliner
This is just a run of the mill drugstore liner. I like that it comes with a little smudge tip on the other end, but it doesn't last too long on the waterline. When I'm done with this, I'll be going back to my Sephora Waterproof Flashy Liner for sure!
9. DermaDoctor KP Duty Moisturizing Therapy for Dry Skin
I LOVE this product for the red, bumpy, dry skin on my upper arms. This has smoothed my skin and slightly reduced my redness. However, I have 2 bottles of this and I still want to buy the scrub, too!
10. MAC Brush Cleanser
I like this a lot for cleaning my super stained brushes. However, I got through my first bottle super quick (about 6 months) and I'm worried if I keep using it, it will start to get kinda pricey. So, if anyone can recommend anything that disinfects AND conditions makeup brushes, lemme know!
